What the shell is a Static Fish?!

Many meanings, many members, and many years of hard work (40, to be exact). Since the club’s founding in 1985, Pratt Institute’s Static Fish has flowed with the currents of the ever-changing comic industry in New York City. From the analogue days of cut-and-paste speech bubbles, to the modern age of digital art and clipping masks - we have all been there and done that. Though times have changed, Static Fish has always been an outlet and community for our artists to express their creativity and love for visual storytelling. Being an officer for the club has given me a space to share my work with likeminded individuals, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
